The first time I heard Limp Bizkit I was hooked. I heard this bootleg copy of counterfeit and although I was a little thrown off by the very different sound, I quickly wore it out.

A few months later my friend Bill found the CD and came to my house and we listened to Faith over and over and over again. While the poppy sound of faith got me jumping it was the dimensions of songs like sour and counterfeit that got me totally addicted. For weeks I listened to that CD over and over again until I knew the words by heart. After I felt like I was pretty knowledgeable about limp I started promoting it.

I would sneak it in the disc player at party's and force my older brother to listen to it thinking that he would understand. The only place you could hear limp was on CD and couldn't understand it. At the beginning of last summer we got Ozzfest tix for the sole purpose of seeing limp. Little did I know I was going to have a near Fred experience. While playing Jump around Fred decided to take a little stroll through the crowd. While mesmerized at Fred jogging through the crowd I realized that if Fred maintained his course he was headed right for us. As Fred ran by on the level below us I put my hand right on his head and almost stole his hat. Needless to say I bought a red phillies hat just like the one Fred had on that day. On the way out of the concert that day I realized that I was in love with limp bizkit. There music is revolutional. On the outside It's fun and exciting, but when you get inside the music it really begins to speak directly to your soul. Every song is a lesson in life.

Last fall after limp established a huge underground following MTV started to play Faith, and then the proverbial shit hit the fan. All of the sudden Fred was on T.V more than Michael Jordan. When the new album landed in my disc player It started all over again. Someone might read this and think I'm totally crazy but all I have to say is The next time you hear nookie on the radio don't just listen to it FEEL IT!! But be very careful you might learn something.
