fred_durst_chat: on everybody who feels like an underdog in high school.

fred_durst_chat: I was kind-of a loner.
fred_durst_chat: I had, like, one or two friends.
fred_durst_chat: A lot of people didn't like me.
fred_durst_chat: I was kinda puny.
fred_durst_chat: I got picked on a lot
fred_durst_chat: because I liked different things and liked to be different.
fred_durst_chat: But I can't complain
fred_durst_chat: because I'm alive and healthy.

fred_durst_chat: I think that I'm very grateful for LB's success
fred_durst_chat: but I can assure that we're not going to let anyone down
fred_durst_chat: and let success get in the way.

fred_durst_chat: I think that anybody who is a hater,
fred_durst_chat: or anyone who hates Limp Bizkit ...
fred_durst_chat: it's just fuel to go on and grow.

fred_durst_chat: it only inspires me even more.

wazinbery: Where do you see the band headed in the next year or two?
fred_durst_chat: We're going to reinvent ourselves on this new record this summer.
fred_durst_chat: And we're headed in a direction that no one dares to go.


SLCPunk: How come Limp Bizkit doesn't do any late night TV shows like Leno, Conan, or Dave?
fred_durst_chat: Because I think it's stupid to perform with no live audience ..... none of our fans there.
fred_durst_chat: We did it on Conan once in our past.
fred_durst_chat: We hated it.
fred_durst_chat: But we love Conan and Letterman.
fred_durst_chat: But I don't like Leno.
fred_durst_chat: Don't think he's funny.

fred_durst_chat: As a child, I looked up to Elvis Presley.

fred_durst_chat: Raging Bull is one of my favorites.
fred_durst_chat: I'd say that Taxi Driver would be second.

comve: I would like to know what software do you use to edit your videos and produce your music
fred_durst_chat: I use Avid software to edit the videos.
fred_durst_chat: And to produce music, we use Neve and Protools.
fred_durst_chat: And Studor.


steamblood: Hey Fred I got 2 questions - 1 how did you form the band and 2 did you ever take singing lessons
fred_durst_chat: Never had singing lessons.
fred_durst_chat: And I formed the band by checking out other bands
fred_durst_chat: and pulling my favorite member out of each band
fred_durst_chat: and putting them in my band.

fred_durst_chat: The new record's going to be really raw
fred_durst_chat: and a lot different from Chocolate Starfish.

fred_durst_chat: are going to be really happy with our new album.
