fred durst update

Well hello out there!! I'm back in bizness. my schedule has been so fucking crazy. Dallas Fredrick Durst ( double D ) was born august 30th at 12:16 am in LA. he is sooooooooo dope!! i filmed the WHOLE process. i want dallas to be able to see his debut, and when his eyes first opened. i wish i had something like that look back on.
ive been living in a hotel for a month and a half waiting on my house to close so i can move in.
limp bizkit has been shacked up in a rehearsal space writing our new album. it looks like we dont really like the vibe of the one we've been in for the last few weeks so we're moving to another one with new vibes.
i just got back from the VMA's. it was a blast!! i cant believe we won for best rock!! i was sure it would be staind. we are so stoked. there were alot of people at the vma's. check this out, as soon as wes and i were walking in the back door, michael jackson pulls up. the securty was shoving everybody out of the way screaming " make a hole!! get out of the way!! ". wes and i were like what the fuck. so, we step aside and in comes michael. he walked right on front of me and i thought it was cool to be that close to one of my major influences. him, ben stiller, U2, staind, and linkin park were my favorite highlights of the show. the pony/maxim afterparty was dope too.
earlier that week i went to the ROCKSTAR premiere. it was great!! i have to say it was one of the best nights ive ever had because i met and hung out with my favorite actor, brad pitt. he was so fucking down to earth just like id hoped he'd be. him and his wife were just so damn cool. it was fucking fabulous.
and now im back.
this new album has to be the next level for you and for us. we have to take things to a place where we can reinvent ourselves. you'll understand what i mean soon enough.
im sitting here in my hotel room playing my acoustic geetar for dallas and it seems to make him happy. i think hes alittle too new to understand anything at this point though. i love him so much.
its hard to believe how great y'all are!! you have been so inspiring to limp bizkit. we fully understand our purpose and connection with you. we will continue to grow together and be here for you under ALL circumstances. now im hittin the fuckin chat!! late
