"Variety" reports that Durst has had several meetings with "Seven" and "Fight Club" director David Fincher to help break down the script, which was penned by William J. Cloakley and Christian Van Gregg and deals with a suffering and picked-upon high school student who eventually strikes back against his enemies. Durst has committed to the project, while Fincher will likely serve as an executive producer in order to mentor the Limp Bizkit singer through the process. Last year, Durst's name was connected with another movie, "Nature's Cure," for Warner Bros., but a suitable script has yet to be completed and approved by the studio. New Line will have the first option to produce the flick, although other studios are being courted, and Durst has allegedly pledged to involve either Limp Bizkit or his friends in Korn on the film's soundtrack as a selling point. It is unclear when Durst would find time to direct "Runts" in the fall, as he had originally planned on starting the project after completing a tour to support Limp Bizkit's forthcoming album, which has been pushed back from its original July 4 release date. --
